Elaine Carlton is a Certified Legal Document Preparer and State of Arizona Notary Public. She is a proud member of the Arizona Association of Independent Paralegals. She began her legal career in 2000 working for a law firm in Payson Arizona. In 2001 she began Family Paralegal Service to help people with their legal documents and represent themselves in court. In 2003 she was one of the first Certified Legal Document Preparers in the State of Arizona and has remained in good standing since that time. She completes 10 hours of continuing legal education every year. In 2010 she relocated from Payson to the Mesa/Chandler area of Maricopa County, which is where is business is now focused.
Elaine has extensive experience in family law matters however Estate planning has now become one of her main areas of focus. There are many people who may never need any help with family law documents but everyone can and should have estate documents prepared. It brings her great satisfaction to help people achieve the peace of mind of knowing that their estate documents are in order and that they have directed their family as to their wishes and concerns. She also finds it rewarding to help people through the transition of divorce, setting up a guardianship or helping a family through the loss of a loved one and working through the Probate process.
Over the years Elaine has helped hundreds of clients prepare their estate documents, assisted in the family law case or help them with other legal matters.
On a personal note, Elaine relocated to the Phoenix area from Payson, AZ in 2010 and enjoys spending time with her family of 5 daughters and 3 grandchildren. Her hobbies include music, gardening, personal health and healing, and enjoying life in the valley of the sun.
